MPs summon Poundland's owner Gordon Brothers to explain the retailer's collapse as Tesco is reported to eye up to 150 stores

Tesco has held talks about buying up to 150 Poundland stores, the Press Association reports (The National). About 11,000 to 12,000 jobs are at risk, and founder Steve Smith urged owners to accept a proposed buyout.
