Privacy
- No cookies, no ad trackers, no third-party analytics. Our fonts are served from this site, so your visit isn't shared with Google.
- Anonymous visit counts. To see which stories and features are useful, our own server counts pageviews and a few clicks (for example "Follow the money", topic chips, blindspot columns, and which lean of source people open), along with country, device type and the site you came from. No cookies, no IDs and nothing stored on your device. Your IP address is used only briefly, mixed with a secret that changes and is deleted every day, to count unique visitors per day. It is never stored. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we count nothing.
- Followed topics are saved only in your own browser (localStorage). They never leave your device.
- Email sign-up: if you sign up, we store your email address, your chosen topics and how often you want emails, using Netlify Forms (our host, Netlify, Inc.). We use it only to send the Paradox News digest you asked for. Digests haven't launched yet, so we won't email you until they do. We'll never sell or share your details.
- To have your details deleted at any time, reply to any digest. Until digests launch, sign up again and write "delete" in the note field, and we'll remove you.
- Links go to other sites (news outlets, X, Reddit, MBFC), which have their own privacy policies.
