Israel demolishes homes of Palestinians it blames for an attack on soldiers, as its lockdown of Hebron passes a week
Israeli forces demolished homes in Hebron that they said belonged to two Palestinian gunmen who attacked a checkpoint, as a military operation there entered its eighth day. Palestinian news agency Wafa and local reports say settlers attacked olive harvesters at several West Bank locations on Friday, wounding at least three people, and began a new outpost. Israel has also barred a foreign delegation including UK MPs from the territory.
